Miramonte Elementary

It is an honor to be the principal at Miramonte Elementary School. I look forward to working with students, teachers, parents and our local leaders in creating a community of life long learners.

Our Mission at Miramonte Elementary is to provide a standards-based curriculum in which students are taught to be socially-conscious critical thinkers and problem solvers who can apply their knowledge to real life situations. Mastery of the standards will result in increased academic achievement that prepares them for successful participation in a global society and also becoming life-long learners.

In order to accomplish this mission we envision ourselves working in collaboration as a professional learning community with parents and community leaders focusing on teaching that is culturally relevant and responsive to the needs of all students. The Miramonte Elementary School Community will create a safe and nurturing environment that teaches values, responsibility, and respect for our school and the community.

We invite all of our community members to take part in helping us build a strong educational foundation for our students. We believe that each child should have the opportunity to be college prepared and career ready upon completing their K-12 education.
